Luther Memorial School

About

Founded in 1856, Luther Memorial School (LMS) is the oldest parochial school in the Richmond region. Luther is operated by the Bethlehem Lutheran Foundation, an outreach ministry of area Lutheran churches.

For almost a century and a half, a dedicated faculty has cultivated the scholastic, spiritual and social development of each student.

Religion and values are taught, prayers are said, and character is emphasized. Luther provides a consistent environment of faith-in-practice. Students learn how to integrate faith, knowledge, and conduct into a God-pleasing whole.

Generations of Luther graduates have established a record of academic success at private and public high schools throughout the Richmond area. Luther Memorial is accredited by the National Lutheran Schools Association and the Virginia Council for Private Education.
