Music, Spanish, art, physical education, technology and library education round out the curriculum. Beginning in kindergarten, students participate in these classes once each week. Spanish, art and religion are added as separate classes beginning in the first grade.

In the fifth and sixth grades, physical education expands to four class periods each week, with library, music, art, Spanish, and computer classes completing the schedule.

In the seventh grade, students take introductory Spanish in preparation for a rigorous Spanish I curriculum in the eighth grade. Spanish I in the eighth grade is offered as a high school credit course.

Pre-algebra is offered to seventh grade students who qualify. This is in preparation for Algebra I in the eighth grade where it is offered as a high school credit-course.

In addition to academics, a Luther education also focuses on the social skills and attitudes needed to develop positive relationships and foster love and respect for all people.

Every child participates at some level in chapel services, the annual spelling bee, the International/National program, and field day. Opportunities for students to be of service to the school and community are also plentiful
